01. A Lifelong Love for Cooking
The Story Behaind Risa & Table
Risa & Table began with the things I have always loved: cooking, discovering beautiful things, and bringing people together.
Growing up in Paris and New York shaped my eye for detail and my curiosity for flavour. Over time, those influences became part of my own way of creating—through food, the objects I choose, and the care that goes into making someone feel welcome.
Alongside my career in finance, I have found a different kind of expression in the kitchen. A flavour that surprises. Colours chosen with someone in mind. A familiar table made special for an occasion. I love how small details can make a gesture feel deeply personal.
Becoming a mother added another perspective, especially to gifting: thinking about what someone would truly enjoy receiving, what might bring comfort, and what could make them feel remembered.
Risa & Table brings these parts of my life together. Original sweets, thoughtfully paired gifts, and pieces for the home—each shaped by my taste, my experiences, and the people who have inspired me.
My hope is simple: to create things you are excited to share, delighted to receive, and happy to make part of your everyday life.
At every stage of my life, there have been people whose kindness has stayed with me—family, friends, colleagues, and those I have met while living and travelling abroad. These relationships are what I treasure most.
To me, sharing a table or making something with someone in mind is a way of saying: you matter. Risa & Table grew from that same instinct—a wish to pass on the warmth I have been fortunate enough to receive.

For me, creating always begins with a person in mind.
Setting the table for friends, finding just the right gift, choosing the ribbon and wrapping—each is a small expression of the same wish: to make someone feel special.
With Risa & Table, I want the pleasure to begin before the first bite—in the anticipation of untying a ribbon, the delight of opening a box, and the feeling that someone has thought of you.

Those simple words from family and friends gave me the confidence to share what I loved with a wider circle.
Risa & Table became a home for the passions I had gathered over the years: cooking, design, the art of wrapping a gift, and the cultures, discoveries and relationships that have shaped my life.
What began as something personal grew into a brand. From Hiroo, Tokyo, I create sweets and gifts that give care a tangible form—something beautiful to unwrap, delicious to share, and meaningful to receive.
